Dear One Million Moms,
I am contacting you regarding your reasoning and response to the issue of JC Penny’s latest Father’s Day issue of 2012. You say that you need to protect and stand up for biblical ad scriptural values, yet what are you standing for? If you stand up for a single part of the bible, then why not stand up for all of it? Why not let your husbands beat you for wearing mixed fabrics? Or protest against any sea food restaraunt for serving shellfish? Or any other restaraunt for serving pork? If any of these things happened, you would find it ridiculous and think if the person doing it as a crazed lunatic. Yet this is the exact thing you are doing. If you believe in stage bible, then riddle me this: if someone does something wrong, way happens to them? They are sent to Hell, are they not? If so, then what is Hell? Your answer is probably something along the lines of a burning, agonizing tomb in which you spend the rest of eternity. Well, are you not the best little Christian women? Except for the part where that was only associated with the Bible and was actually taken from ancient cultures in the Roman Empire, Grecian Empire and in several different African cultures. The actual Christian belief is that “Hell” is just being far from God, not burning for all of eternity. the belief is that everything returns to God, not that everything is a battle between Heaven and Hell; light and dark; good and evil. It is just being far from God, but still something of him, so it may return. Even if something is a “sin,” it does not mean that the person who commits that “sin” is evil or bad. It means that they are human and it is life. Get off of your high-horse, pretending that everyone you see is beneath you. Just because you call yourself a Christian or a mother, does not make you that thing until you either know what you’re talking about, or start acting like it.
